What an adventure!
Casey and Ben met up with me last weekend to photograph their Gulf Shores Beach engagement session. Along for the ride was their fluffy and cute dog, Riley, and Casey’s sweet parents, Steve and Cindy! We just had the best time riding around finding the perfect locations and meeting friends along the way.
The week leading up to our session the forecast called for rain. We stayed hopeful about the weather and flexible with the start time. It paid off because at the last minute the forecast changed to just cloudy skies! Hooray!! We were able to take advantage of the clouds and photographed this adorable bike shot on the little pier. Normally the light would have been too bright at this time of day, but luckily we had this nice even light.
Casey and Ben are both runners & cyclists, so I knew incorporating a photogenic bike would be so fun! Side note: Ben is participating in the half Iron Man hosted in Chattanooga in May! WOW! Wishing him the best of luck during the demanding training! What an accomplishment that will be!
These blooms traveled all the way from Old Frond in Huntsville to our session in Gulf Shores! They were the perfect complement to the bike & their outfits.
(Not-so) Fun fact: Alabama beaches are not dog friendly. Thankfully Steve and Cindy were there to dog-sit while we took a stroll along the beach. Y’ALL, the skies opened up and gave us the most GLORIOUS pink canvas! I couldn’t be happier about it! We literally hopped, skipped (kinda), and jumped all over this beach with the sound of the tide in our ears. Casey and Ben are the cutest!! Can’t wait to photograph their wedding in September!
I will always be ready for a gulf shores beach engagement session!
Your wedding day is just around the corner! I can’t wait.
Update: Check out their Burritt on the Mountain Wedding here!
