Hi friends!  Today on the blog is the cutest family of five – The Phillips!  I’ve had the pleasure of photographing this family (and her sister’s) for a couple of years now.  It amazes me how much the boys have grown and how much their personalities have developed from session to session.  The youngest of the three boys, Barrett, recently celebrated his first birthday.  A perfect time to update those family photos.

Y’all, it’s no secret that I’ve recently become obsessed with downtown Mooresville, Alabama. Can you blame me? This little town has an endless amount of character.  I could photograph here every day and each session would have its own charm.

We got so lucky with the Alabama weather in July – it was a mild 89 degrees and sunny!  Haha!  During the past few weeks, we have been in a heat advisory so this day really did feel like spring to this photog.

Look at those pretty blue eyed and blonde hair babes.

Oh, I could just pinch those little cheeks all day!

Lots of tickle fights, a bit of chase, and an occasional dance party will always bring the magic.  Nothing warms my heart more at a family session than hearing children truly laugh!

One of my favorite things to do at a family session is snapping a few frames of just the parents.  Most of the time, the kids get jealous and want to hop in!
It’s a win, win!!
