I knew immediately our shoot was going to be fun.
The first thing Jessica said to me as they were getting out of the car at Bradford Creek Greenway was, “I waited to let you pick – a neutral or bold lipstick?” They were dressed to the nines! Each detail complimented another. Jay’s outfit perfectly coordinated with hers. Jessica’s colorful, striped scarf and earrings seriously has me considering throwing my entire closet away. Ha! Can you be my personal stylist, please?!
This particular morning had been a cold and windy one. Luckily just before our shoot began, the wind stopped and the sun gave us this perfect glow – lighting up the fall leaves for an incredible backdrop. The ambient temperature went from crisp to comfortable as we took a stroll along the Bradford Creek Greenway in Madison, Alabama.
Our first stop was on the rusted wrought iron bridge. I usually like to take a moment before we start snapping photos to teach couples a few posing tricks and terminology to help ease into the session. For these two it wasn’t needed. They were naturals! Jessica already knew her favorite side and Jay could do no wrong! He was looking dapper and full of charm.
Even though Jay could have easily stolen the show, he was quite the gentleman and let her shine!
Pretty positive this girls smile could light up any room. Her smile is contagious! Because of how comfortable and confident they were in their outfits, Jessica and Jay were able to move around and “play” without a second thought. Having fitted (not tight) clothes that allow movement really shines in your photographs.
There’s no denying Jessica and Jay’s spark. Obviously he couldn’t keep his eyes (or hands) off of her during our session. Thanks, Jay! You made my job easy peasy.
