Danclay Farms Elopement | Florence, Alabama
On Saturday, April 18th, Mary Alan and Adam were married in the eyes of God at Danclay Farms in Florence, Alabama. Their wedding day was different than they imagined due to COVID-19 but lovely nonetheless. They privately exchanged vows and wedding rings a few moments before the sun hit the horizon. It was beautiful! Adam read his vows first and Mary Alan preceded afterwards. The way he looked at her while she was making her promises is what every woman wishes for when she was a young girl. (See the photo of this sweet moment below).
As soon as it was official, Adam immediately prayed over their marriage.
There were no microphones, but none were needed. All I could hear were leaves ruffling in the wind. Just as it should have been.
Next year the Mr. & Mrs. plan to come back to this French Country inspired estate the day before their one year anniversary to celebrate with all of the family and friends! I’m eagerly looking forward to celebrating you guys again! Pretty sure I’m not the only one. 😉
The Ceremony
Seriously, look at how much this man adores her. His love is jumping out at you in this image.
After the ceremony Mary Alan and Adam had their first dance as husband and wife to the song “Dancing Away with My Heart” by Dillon Carmichael. They really leaned into this dance, and all the moments of the day, with such grace. I’m pretty sure they forgot I was even there with them.
If I could photograph these two everyday, I absolutely would! So photogenic and our conversation is easy-peasy & fun.
Looking forward to next year, guys. Enjoy the newlywed bliss!
