In late October, Mary Beth and Eddie exchanged vows in front of the gazebo for their Burritt on the Mountain wedding. The air had a comfortable fall crisp, the skies were full of fluffy clouds and every detail was draped in an autumn color palette — a picture perfect setting for their classic wedding day.
Walking down the aisle with tears in her eyes
When Eddie met the eyes of Mary Beth for the first time as she walked down the aisle, there wasn’t a dry eye in the crowd. Her dad could see her sweet tears under her blusher veil as he carefully walked with her arm in his. I could only imagine the kind of faith you must have in a young man to give your daughter’s hand.

An elegant, classic bride
On this day, Mary Beth was the epitome of elegance! Her classic style was shown from head to toe — from her blusher veil, seamless gold band and white Mary Jane shoes. I believe if she were born a century before, Mary Beth and Grace Kelly would have been great friends!

Wedding favors with a personal touch
You won’t believe their wedding favors — Christmas crackers! It’s an English holiday tradition and was how Eddie proposed to Mary Beth! So sweet! Each Christmas cracker contained a gold paper crown that all of the guests wore during the reception.

Hunter green in every detail
Hunter green was a frequent detail in the wedding. The bridesmaids’ hunter green velvet robes popped perfectly off of the autumn colors atop Monte Sano Mountain.

A first look with dad
Before the first look between Mary Beth and her dad, Mr. Gordon described his anticipation similar to the excitement his children had on Christmas morning. Because of the ear to ear smile on his face while he was telling me this story, I knew this first look would be special. However, what I wasn’t expecting was her brother, Jimmy, to shed a tear!
Candid moments with both the bride and groom
One of my favorite moments of every wedding day is documenting the parents of the groom help their son get ready. Eddie and his parents were very candid and really hit a range of emotions — laughs, tears, embraces and usually laughs again! Pulling at my heart strings!

Bubble exits are the most fun (and least dangerous)!
Burritt on the Mountain Wedding Vendors
All of the wedding vendors went above and beyond to celebrate this wedding! The florals from Field and Forage were out of this world amazing! I can’t say enough great things about this mother and daughter duo. Mrs. Mary Ann kept the schedule on time and had everything in order as always. Paul with CityBeatz DJ had the couple dancing all evening. Mason Dixon — you out did yourself this time! I could seriously go on and on about the team that came together, but y’all get the point! 😉
