Shelby

Every once and a while I like to take the time to shoot something just for me. It’s usually motivated by a creative yearning or a learning opportunity.
In this case it was both!
Studio work, although shot minimally, has opened a new door for my photography journey and has enabled me to express or create an emotion with shaping artificial light.

Shelby was kind enough to drive from Birmingham to Huntsville, sit through an hour or so of hair and makeup, and model for a couple of hours while I continuously fiddled with the lighting equipment to create these high key to low key images.
