While I was photographing Courtney and Tyler’s engagement session in downtown Mooresville, my excitement for their wedding day grew at an exponential rate! They cuddled, smiled, and played in front of my camera like no one was around. This photog’s heart was gushing with joy!
During our session I had the pleasure of hanging out with their mom’s, too – Culise and Jayne. They were both there to help out with all the little details like carrying bags, quilts, and adjusting hair. We bonded over our love for our fur-babies and of course our excitement over Courtney and Tyler’s wedding!
These two may seem like two sweet “kids” in love, but in reality they have some pretty impressive resumes. Courtney is beginning her second year at UAB School of Optometry & Tyler is working on his master’s degree at Mississippi State University which is where the couple met. Can’t wait to see what life has in store for them!
Can’t wait until their December wedding at the Monte Sano Lodge! It’s going to be perfect!
THE SWEETEST DETAIL: The stone in the engagement ring came from Courtney’s grandmother’s ring! <3 <3 <3
As one of their props, Tyler brought his mother’s wedding quilt along. This quilt was made from material his great-grandmother used to sew Jayne’s clothes growing up. She said she could remember almost every outfit! It even has his parent’s anniversary embroidered in the corner! (Fun fact: My husband and I share the same anniversary!)
I am so happy the rain and clouds held out to give us this gorgeous golden glow!
