Annie Jo and Jackson’s downtown Tuscumbia engagement session features one stellar ring, two adorable people in love, and endless amounts of snuggles. From the moment they stepped out of the truck, Annie Jo and Jackson were so welcoming and friendly. I instantly knew this session would be amazing. Since I’m not from the area, Annie Jo and Jackson showed me around and explained their special affinity for unique doors.
Their love story is one that I absolutely swoon over! Annie Jo was gracious enough to share some of it with me.
Jackson and Annie Jo were high school sweethearts and on the night of their first kiss “History in the Making” came on the radio after Jackson left. A couple of years pass and they began touring colleges. While Annie Jo was visiting UNA the tour guide began to explain how the school’s slogan is History in the Making. No doubt this sealed the deal. She knew UNA was the right fit for them. During senior year Jackson proposed to Annie Jo on UNA’s campus! – And of course Jackson included “History in the Making” during this momentous chapter in their lives by writing it on an antique barn door. After she says “YES” friends and family ran out to congratulate them! This made the lovely day even more perfect!
Annie Jo’s dusty rose pink velvet dress is a show stopper for sure! I could easily photograph these two love birds everyday.
When Annie Jo and I first started planning their engagement session in downtown Tuscumbia, the carousel was a “must” for them. Now I see why! How adorable are they!
I also need mention Jackson picked out this ring all own his own! In addition to the way this man looks at her, what more could a girl ask for?
Oh, yes! I should mention – Annie Jo and Jackson built and tied the knot at Harvest Hollow Venue and Farm.
