Are y’all surprised to see another (family) session in Mooresville, Alabama?
Do you blame me? Haha! This little town is worth every bit of the 15-minute drive from Huntsville in my opinion.
These sweet people might look familiar. I’ve been photographing the Mansell family since Carson was a newborn! Back then Brody, the oldest, was barely talking and shy. Now-a-days Brody is full of personality & smiles, and Carson is running right behind him & catching up quickly.
We spent the afternoon running around the town and playing. The columns in front of the historic brick church were the perfect spot to play a game of peek-a-boo which gave us the perfect opportunity to capture REAL smiles. Mooresville offers the best variety of backdrops for sessions.
The in-between moments are sometimes my favorite. Carson and Brody were laughing hysterically while pulling on these branches. Little petals rained down on them, and Dad may or may not got (lightly) hit in the face (on accident) with a branch. 😉
Everyone was having a good time, and we got some of the cutest images of the evening.
Squeeze!! I just love this photo of Brody loving on his brother.
Baby laughs are the sweetest sound in the world!
If Barbie and Ken were real people and had a family – this would be them!! <3
The pink blooms and white picket fence complimented their outfits perfectly. Even though Alabama summers are blazing hot, they sure are gorgeous! (Pro-tip: I carry paper towels in my camera bag just in case we need to dab a bit of sweat).
Check out Kate’s sister, Sara, and her family’s session here.
